children presenting with periumbilical pain{,recurrent,}usg showins nonspecific mesentric lymphnodes enlargement.Parents want treatment,inspiteof counselling.Next what to do_?

Expert Answer :
Get a mantoux test, chest X-ray and look for other signs of TB. IF TB is unlikely, treat for atypical infection and repeat USG after 10 days. If lymphnodes persist, watch for increase or other symptoms to appear.
