can we give claforan or rocephine by intra muscular injection especially large dose
What a possability of causing abscess in mounths old infants

Expert Answer :
CLAFORAN {cefotaxime} or rocephine {ceftriaxone} may be administered IM or IV after reconstitution. Causes of abscess in infants can be due to many etiologies however an underlying immunodeficiency should be ruled out.
