A 9 year old child presents with severe aches and pains in both lower limbs. He has x web addressed icthyosis. He shows persistent hypertension and hyponatremia {110}. All pulses are well felt. there is no abdominal bruit and the doppler study excludes renal artery stenosis.
What next_?

What is the blood pressure in all 4 limbs_? Has coarctation of aorta been ruled out_? Also since the child has ichthyosis rule out a variant of Fanconi syndrome and get a urine examination done to rule out proteinuria. Also rule out chronic renal failure with ichthyosis.
