6month male baby with irritability andleukocytosis,{TC-29000 on 19, 8, 16000 on 24, 8 treated with antibitics, csf, cxr-normal, blood culture no growth,usg abd andEcho-normal,mp-no parasites, settled
29, 8 presented with irritability, TC-21000, improved with oral antibiotis.
7, 9-presented with irritabily TC-20000, L65 percent,plt-4.9l
iCa-.74,
Breast fed baby.no lymphadenopathy, no hepatospleenomegaly,
what is the cause for irritabilty with leukocytosis without fever,

Expert Answer :
Rule out colic. Also ionic calcium appears to be low, so rule out vitamin D deficiency and rickets. Also rule out anemia and presence of nucleated RBCS
