What is the indication for an EEG in a child with recurrent complex febrile seizure with no other signs to suggest any form of neurological disease? Does the EEG change the prognosis?

seizures more than 2 times in a day

I think r.c.f seizures itself is an indication for EEG.Normal EEG is definitely better prognostically,than an abnormal one when we consider the no. of recurrences and duration of drug therapy
