What are the causes of increased salivation in infant who is developmentally normal? Can tongue tie be a cause?

Many things other thane tongue tie can cause excessive salivation in infant like moniliasis ,tongue ulcers,URTI ,adnoid ,teething ,croup and many other causes .

forgot to one thing , tongue tie can not cause increase in salivation becausee it does not affect diglution anyway . { defect of posterior part of tongue and palet integrity cause deglutition problems. anterior mouth problem with pain of course
