Is it necessary to give purgative with Pyrantel Pamoate or Levamisole to expel paralyzed worms or in which situation is required? and which is to be used?

Normally there is no need to give purgative to all the children receiving antihelmintic drugs. Any child who has many roundworms leading to intestinal obstruction may need purgative along with antihelmintic drugs to expel them out at the earliest.
