Is Hepatitis B Immunoglobin necessary along with HB Vaccine if mother is HBSAG POSITIVE?

if avalilable and pt can afford fine, otherwise give hepatitia b vac. as early as possible{WITHIN 12 HRS OF BIRTH}

yes,absolutely.ideally immunoglobulin should be given within 6 hrs of birth along with HB vaccine given simultaneously {but at a
different site}.cord blood should be sent for HBs ag.
