In this season most of the children have intractable cough from post bronchitis reactive air way disease due to viral lake CMV, adeno, Influenza and Para influenza.
Among them adenoviral can produce symptoms like pertissoid syndrome, and plastic bronchitis.
Treatment: Symptomatic
• Bronchodilator
• Leakotriene inhibitor after 6 months age {Granules mixed in cereals}
• Antibiotic if secondary infection suspected
• Dust smoke, precautious
• Honey at night time if the cough throaty
