ASOM can present as diarrhoea in children. How should we treat such cases as antibiotics used to treat ASOM can also cause diarrhoea?

It may not be always the case that the antibiotic may lead to diarrhea. If the antibiotic leads to diarrhea, one can change the antibiotic. Hence one may give the standard antibiotic such as amox-clav for the otitis media.

dont worry abt diarrhoea-give amoxy clav combination with prebiotics n probiotics formulation and if need be ors-in some extreme cases i-v antibiotics can be the substitute.
