A 12 YRS OLD BOY`S FIRST BLOOD RPORT SHOWED TSH
ABOVE NORMAL LIMIT BUT T3 and T4 WITHIN NORMAL
RANGE. HIS SECOND BLOOD REPORT SHOWED DECREASE
IN T3 LEVEL T3 LEVEL WAS BELOW NORMAL LIMIT ,T4 LEVEL AT THE LOWER LIMIT OF NORMAL RANGE BUT HIS TSH LEVL WAS WITHIN NORMAL RANGE.HOW SHOULD I INTERPRETATE THIS RPORT

please get a free T4. free T3 and TSH done. If free hormones are low and tsh is high then it is primary hypothyroidism. if free hormones are low and tsh is normal or low then it is secondary hypothyroidism
