What types of special precaution to take if the child has been diagnosed as Hetrogygous Galactosemia, and his parents also has the same, and all are healthy. Child is 7 month old with breast feed, Reducing substance Absent, Cataract Absent.

Galactosemia is an autosomal recessive condition and hence for the disease to manifest, it needs both the genes to be abnormal. With only one abnormal gene, there is no clinical problem and the child will be normal clinically.
