check baby's platelet levels. if less than 50000 give platelet conc. if mother has SLE give steroids

late onset-platelate transfusion

Antenatal platelet transfusion by PUBS and postnatally IVIg, steroids,exchange transfusion. If fetal scalp platelet counts More than 50000-ml, consider vaginal delivery, otherwise caeserian section is preferred

baby should be delivered by cesarean section and given a short course of prednisolone 2mg-kg-d or IVIG 0.4g-kg-d x 2-5days
