There have been studies on Ranitidine and PPI's causing community aquired pneumonia in children using them for GERD or acid peptic diseases. My question is what other option do we have if not gastric acid inhibitors?

erythromycin can be used for gerd,but for acid peptic disease there's not much choice

Sucralfate has been used in these conditions to prevent stress ulcers and at same time preserve the gastric Ph.
