Expert Answer :
Hilum is better appreciated in laterl film. Left hilar enlargement is easy to make out and often pathological while right hilar region is difficult to be sure about its pathology if any. Besides fact remains that x-ray finding is just one parameter for dianosis and one should not depend upon single parameter for diagnosis of TB. It is ideal to consider gastric aspirate for bacteriological diagnosis and unless we start doing it. we will never progress to diagnose TB in chldren with confirmation.
