one of the most common condition ,i m seeing in my practice is allergic rhinitispersthama.my confusion about patients of less than 6 months and newborn,which nonsedative antihistaminic we can use,can we give Budesonide nebulisation or inhalation in this age group,is there any need to use broncho dilator if chest mildly congested which one preferable.secondly what are the contraindications of Budesonide inhalation by age group wise.pls give me preference

Expert Answer :
Budesonide is a preventer in asthma and is used as long term medication for control of asthma. For acute wheezing episodes, one needs to given beta agonists for which one can still use Salbutamol in infants. For chest congestion, there is no role of bronchodilator.
