if the patient has no active bleeding and platelet count in the safe range, he can be managed as an opd case. patient`s safe platelat count depends on hie baseline platelet count.

If stable with no signs of active bleeding, ITP can be managed as outpatient.

A patients with ITP needs admission if there is active bleeding. Else they can be managed on OPD basis.
