In routine immunisation Hepatitis vaccine is given at 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 14 weeks. But in adult it is given 0, 1 month and 6 months.Why there is this diiference in adult and infant immunisation?

Hepatitis B vaccine in children can be given at birth, 4 weeks and 14 weeks or at 6,10,14 weeks or 0,1,6 months. In adults it can also be given at 0,1,6 months or even 0,1,2 months. All regimes have been found to give protective titres.
