In a child with cholestasis, can fat soluble vitamins be absorbed if given orally?

No,because of cholestasis there is defective enterohepatic circulation from terminal ileum which impedes this absorption of vitamins {ADKE}

Due to cholestasis there is decreased absorption of fat soluble vitamins. As a result they have to be given in 10 times the daily requirement for it to be absorbed, thus cholestatic doses are recommended.
