i have a 2 and half month old infant of hbsag positive mother taken HBIG and 2 doses of hepatitis b one at birth and second at 6 weeks and third due at 14 weeks .is there any need to investigate child for hbsag or anti hbs titre

Yes, one will need to do Hbsag at 6 months of age, to check for perinatal transmittion of HBV.
