Expert Answer :
An undescended testis ideally should have been fixed after being brought down into the scrotum by age 1 year. Since the boy is already 6 years old, please do not waste further time, and go and meet a qualified Pediatric Surgeon or Pediatric Urologist to get an Orchiopexy done. Before going in for the surgery, I usually reccomend just routine tests like Complete Blood Count and Urine Routine, besides the usual HIV HbsAg and HcV. Hope this answers your questions adequately.
