Can a hypothyroid mother continue taking Thyroxine tablets while breast feeding her baby?What effect will it have on the baby? Will it affect the results of Thyroid fuction tests in the neonate?

Yes.There will be no effect on the baby. NO

she can with regular check up for thyroid function in infant. hyperthyroidism , it can affect

no contraindication to breast milk and no effect on the baby or the thyroid test
