as it is known in diarrhea there is no use of antibiotic .WHAT IS THE ROLE OF Colistin SULPHATE

Antibiotics are useful only in patients with dystentery or chronic diarrhea due to bacterial infections. The use of Colistin should be considered for the treatment of infections caused by gram-negative bacteria resistant to other antimicrobials or when treatment with these agents has been clinically ineffective.
