AFTER HOW MANY DAYS OF GIVING INJ CEFTRIXONE IN A CASE TYPHOID WHERE WIDAL TITRES - MORE THAN 1, 160 WE SHOULD CALL IT DRUG RESISTANT TYPHOID FEVER.or FOR HOW MANY DAYS WE SHOULD SEE IF PATIENT OF TYPHOID FEVER IS HAVING PERSISTENT FEVER DESPITE GIVING INJ CEFTRIXONE_?_?

It has been suggested that in adults, Ceftriaxone may be required to be given for only 3 days. Most studies in paediatric patients, however, recommend treatment for 7 to 10 days or for at least 3 days after defervescencel
