a 9 yrs old girl came to me with complaint of progressive
swelling starting from face then to feet and to abdomen.her
wt is 33 kg.BP 100, 70,Hb-11,serum cholestrol-160,ser
protein-6.8,,ser albumin-3.5gm..urinary protein-4plus,RBC PRESENT,.24 hrs URINARY protein-1.3gm,,pus cell present
in urine,..usg-showing renal parenchymal disease...her
total history is of one
month only..LIVER FUNCTION WNL..WHAT COULD BE THE DIGNOSIS AND LINE OF TREATMENT.IS RENAL BIOPSY VERY NECCESARY TO CONFIRM AND START TREATMENT.WHAT S THE ROLE OF STEROID IN SUCH TYPE OF CASES.

Rule out nephrotic onset , acute glomerulonephtism renal failure. What is her serum creatinine. ASLO, C3, ANA, ds DNA and urine culture_? Also has HUS been ruled out_?
