A 3 year old child who was diagnosed as a nephrotic syndrome is not cooperative in taking oral prednisolone. Can i use injectable Methylprednisolone as an alternative drug?

You can give either the syrup or tablet preparation crushed and given with honey. Injectible methyprednisolone is not recommended unless the child is steroid resistant and focal glomerulosclerosis on biopsy.

No,This medication For peroral administration only! It is administered orally, after meals.
