A 10 yr boy who did not have any significant problems earlier except reactive air way disease in late infancy presented with classical myotonia clinically demonstrable over hand clasp, thenar muscles, neck muscles,tongue. Does not have family hist. Is it possibly para myotonia in extreme cold exposure? I have asked for CPK waiting for reports. Suggestions please.
