7month old baby with H FLU Meningitis sensitive to Ceftriaxone treated with inj Ceftriaxone for 10 days.sensorium and general condition improved low grade fever persists.CT HEAD is normal.LPrepeated.CSF Is normal.No evidence of phlebitis or intercurrent infection or other focus of infection. What do I do

Expert Answer :
Complete 14 days of antibiotics and check if fever persists even after stopping antibitiocs. If fever subsides it may be drug related. If fever persists, try and find focus of fever.

i think look for other focus of infection, if all cultures are still negative think of drug fever.
