4-month-old infant with h/o cold and cough probably due to cold weather. The baby was given anti-histaminic drops, Terbutaline syrup and nebulization SOS. Can we give honey containing ayurvedic syrup? As honey is recommended for cough.

Honey containing antitussive remedies are safe. But Jar honey is not safe due to the risk of botulism.
