10-year-old female diagnosed for fibrous dysplasia. Bone curettage, bone grafting and steel plate fixation carried out in the right femur due to detection of a fairly large lesion. Within a week infection at site took place. Hemoglobin had dipped to 7 plus from 12 plus , ESR from 50 to 150 plus . Debridement and removal of bone graft and steel plate was done. Now the patient is at home with bed rest advised. No splint or steel plate. Hemoglobin level is 10 plus and ESR still high at 110. We would like to know what is to be done next.
