10-year-old female diagnosed for fibrous dysplasia. Bone curettage, bone grafting and steel plate fixation carried out in the right femur due to detection of a fairly large lesion. Within a week infection at site took place. Hemoglobin had dipped to 7 plus from 12 plus , ESR from 50 to 150 plus . Debridement and removal of bone graft and steel plate was done.
