Probiotic should be added. No antidiarhoeal is really required in this age group.

There is no ideal antidiarrheal. Even ORS is used for preventing and treating dehydration and zinc for decreasing stool output and rate of diarrhea. There is no antidiarrheal for infective diarrhea as they may worsen the infection. One can try a probiotic if needed.
