What is the latest recommendation for administering Rota virus vaccine_?Since it is available many paediatricians advise parents to give the vaccine.

Give 2 doses {Rotarix} or 3 doses{Rotateq} beginning at 6 weeks of age at minimum of 1 month interval between doses with the last dosegiven before 6 months {24 weeks} of age or for Rotateq 32 months. Follow manufacturer`s instructions.

ROTA VIRUS VACCINE IS RECOMMENDED TO ALL INFANTS MORE THAN 6 WEEKS OF AGE,ACCORDING TO THE BRAND 2 OR THREE DOSES ARE TO BE GIVEN 1 MONTH APART,THE FIRST DOSE SHOULD BE GIVEN NO LATER THAN 12 WEEKS AND ALL THE DOSES SHOULD BE COMPLETED BEFORE 32 WEEKS.
