Treatment for mild vitamin A deficiency could be daily supplements of 2000 IU for children aged 3 years or younger, 3000 IU for children aged 4-8 years, 6000 IU for children aged 9-13 years, 10,0000 IU for all adults.
Therapeutic dose for severe disease include 200,000 IU and 1,00,000 IU to be repeated on day 14.
