What is role of thrombophob ointment for relieving swelling of leg after DPT? Does it really work.

There is no role of local aplication of pain releiving agents in post DPT injection.One or two doses of paracetamol is the best analgesic and antpyretic recommended and does wonder.In the absence of enough data on safety of other non steroidal anti inflammatory agents in infants,it is better to avoid these drugs
