WHAT ARE THE CUT OFF LIMIT OF T4 and TSH TO DIAGNOSE HYPOTHROIDISM and START THYROXIN.IF T4 IS NORAM IN NORMAL LIMIT BUT TSH IS LESS THAN 10 UNITS SHOULD WE START ELTROXIN_?

Better guide would be Free T3 and Free T4. If Free T3 and Free T4 are normal, there is no need to start Thyroxine supplement.

less TSH levels indicate subtle excess of thyroxine. its a state of hyperthyroidism. we cant give eltroxin. its not the T3 levels but the TSH levels is imp .
