may you send me the common causes of nutritional myocarditis and how to treat them_?

Expert Answer :
Nutritional defficiencies causing ventricular dysfunction should be referred to as Cardiomyopathy rather than myocarditis since most often there is no inflammation. Iron defficieny {severe with hb Less than 4gm percent} can cause ventricular dysfunction. Similarly, Thiamine defficiency and hypocalcemia can result into impaired ventricular function. I am sure there must be some other causes pertaining to trace element defficiency like selenium which was once upon a time implicated as an etiology of EMF.
