Is there any role of steroids in the management of Bronchiolitis in current practice_?

According to Cochrane data base and most of randomised controlled trials, there is no role of steroids in acute bronchiolitis. However acute bronchioliitis may in effect may be the first episode of atopic hyperreactive airway disease and in such a case, steroids may work. That is how few pediatricians may claim to get good results occassiionally.
