is only fever in first few days after birth could be consider as a criteria for septic screening

FEVER is generally NOT the usual sign of sepsis in the first few days after birth. Babies generally are off colour, sometimes hypothermic, refusal of feeds are other common signs of sepsis along with PROM and other high risk factors for sepsis.

Yes you can consider for sepsis and also u check out all the prenatal infections until approved otherwise
