Expert Answer :
Breastfeeding {nipple stimulation in general} induces the production of the hormones oxytocin, which produces milk, and prolactin, whichcauses the uterus to contract and can cause premature labour. Also it may affect the nutrition of the mother as she has to feed 2 individuals. Thus early weaning of the breast would be advisable. By about the fourth month of pregnancy, your breasts will start to produce colostrum in preparation for the new baby. Some toddlers may not mind this change in texture and taste, while others may naturally wean themselves.

basically it is unlikely that a lactating mother becoming pregnant. if it happens she need not refrain herself from breast feeding if the baby is Less than 6 months old. If the baby is More than 6months and if complementary feeds have already been started it depends on the milk flow and adequacy.
