i really want to know when exactly these drugs can be used by pediatrician. is there any cut off age for them. i am not able to find any cut of age for them
1.phenylephrine
2. promethazine
3. chlorpheniramine
4. triprolidine

Phenylephrine has been used in children 6 months and older. Chlorpheniarmine has been used in children less than 2 years at dose of 1mg BDS. Tripolidine has been used in children 4 mo and older in dose of 1.25 mg, day. Promethazine is used in children more than 2 years of age. However none of these should be used in children less than 2 years as per US FDA
