How to confirm the DPT induced seizures? Is there any need to treat DPT indused seizures with anticonvultions?

no need to give long term anticonvulsants-It is only the repeat challenge with DPT that can confirm-wih no past history of febrile seizures -

usually seizures after DPT occurs with fever which may be because of vaccine itself.so it is difficult to differentiate it from febrile convulsion.if seizures occurs within 72 hours of DPT given, it is considered as due to vaccine.
