Can isolated 6th Cranial Nerve palsy be reported as AFP which was preceded by Gastroenteritis 10 days back_? Patient presented with sudden onset Rt. Convergent Squint havung rest of normal exam. His CT Scan, Blood complete exam is normal. CSF Exam is not done as parents did not allow it.

Expert Answer :
Isolated 6th nerve palsy may be due to brain stem encephalitis, infarct or raised ICT. ALso rule out ADEM. An MRI may be more useful.
