Carminatives are not used for treatment of diarrhea. They are used for treatment of flatulence and colic only.

Actually not needned in diarrhoea.In Diarrhoea is ORS and Symptomatic treatment.

never. No role for such therapies in the current day practice guidelines of Acute Diarrhea in Peadiatric practice. Only ORS, Zinc and if needed antiemetics are the drugs which can be used.
