Can Arteether and Quinine be administered simultaneously in severe P.Falciparum malaria?

no use quinine Plus fansidar or use arteether then quinine

Though arteether and quinine can be given together in severe falciparum malaria, one can give quinine alone as it it known to still be the drug of choice. Arteether may decrease the parasitic index rapidly but one should look out for hypoglycemia and cardiac abnormalities with the same.

Not justified if u go via literature,but used by lot many as a desperate measure.Benefit of this is a controversial issue.
