Can anti-scabicidal lotion be apply on face, head in a patient of scabies?

a good _?. we always instruct parents not to apply the lotion on the face.However in case the infestation is so widespread then its better to give oral ivermectin.

no, antiscabicidal lotion is to be applied on whole of body, for head its conc. differs

no..because..harmfull to eyes..not affect the face

No the antiscabies lotion cannot be applied on head or face of a patient with scabies. However, if lesions are present on head, one may treat as head lice with permethrin {1 Percent} or lindane shampoo. In resistant cases, ivermectin {orally} may be given.
