If patient with itp throbocytopenia. Is it safe to give albendazole


And if baby 6 mounths old with worms is it safe to give albendazole

There is no contraindication for Albendazole in ITP. It is not recommended in children less than 12 months of age.

Abendazole can cause bone marrow supression, easy bruising, anemia. It is not safe to use abendazole in babies because of the possible side effects- seizures, liver disfunction
