A 7 months old boy has a single palmar crease. I could not find any other anomaly. His milestones are normal till date. How should I follow him and what investigations are required?

single palmar crease alone does not have significance. child need not be investigated further.

keep check on milestones.i suspect child might have down's syndrome.karyotyping should be done to rule out chromosomal abnormality

single palmar crease perse is not abnormal. it can ocur in normal persons and all down syndrome cases wont have single palmar crease.
