A 4yr old had bilateral cataracts - operated in October last year. Now advised to have IOL implants. What would you recommend?

Its too early to put IOL. I think we should wait till puberty.

When I first looked at this question I thought that the IOL was a bad idea but then I caught that the child's age was four. I would continue on with the advised prcedure and see how well the patient recovers before recommending anything else.
