A 12yrs old male known case of nephrotic syndrome since 2001 with 3 relapses. Last one in dec 2004. He is on inhaler{steroid} for 6month. Now for past one month he has 1 plus or 2 plus protein in his urine without any other symptom. Does he needs management as relapse or one should wait and watch?

This does not qualify as relapse.Treat the chest condition adequately{with brochodilators-antibiotics etc.}look for any other focus of infection and treat it.Treatment of provoking infection only may lead to remission.
