When do you consider surgical removal of a chalazion in a five year old girl with a large pea sized one that has not responed to 5 weeks of warm compress, massage and tobradex ointment?

A small chalazion may go away in a couple of months without treatment. A large chalazion may need treatment. Treatment of chalazion would involve intralesional triamcinolone acetonide injection or incision and curettage. However in children it may be required to be done under general anesthesia
